Vintage solid wood hand carved biomorphic totem sculpture.
Solid old growth redwood. Expertly carved into organic forms and surfaces. One side depicts a seed pod/tentacle surface. The other side depicting scales and a flame like petals in an organic arrangement of sculpted lines.
Sculpture is in excellent as found condition. Signed on underside “Gillips 81”. Bolted into a square mahogany stock base with two slotted zinc screws. Signed on underside.
